THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING
The foundation of Incobio began over 30 years ago with the transport and processing of wood chips.
TRANSPORTES GASPICOLI, founded in 1988, operates in the transport of chickens in the western area of the State of Santa Catarina. Later, in the mid-1990s, V.A. MARAVALHAS emerged as an independent company operating alongside Gaspicoli.

THE FOUNDATION OF INCOBIO
In 1993, following corporate restructuring, V.A. MARAVALHAS transitioned into GASPERINI E CIA LTDA, but the company continued its transportation business while expanding to the production of sawdust and wood chips.
Over the years, with the modernization of equipment and processes for wood utilization, Incobio – Indústria e Comércio de Biomassa LTDA was established

BIOMASS EXPERTISE
The first visual identity that marked the beginning of Incobio's activities in 1999 was entirely blue, emphasizing the production of "energy for the new millennium," energy from biomass, which was new in the country. At that time, vegetable briquettes were the main industrialized and commercialized product, highlighting Incobio's pioneering spirit in this sector.
Years later, the first visual identity update was carried out, maintaining the initial base and removing some information, focusing on what the company was pursuing: being a reference in biomass.

PIONEERING IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET
In 2006, amid the crisis in the Brazilian biomass sector, Incobio became the first company in Brazil to export briquettes to the European market, specifically to Switzerland. With a pioneering project, strategic vision, and determination, the company met national bureaucratic requirements, overcoming the sector's difficulties and breaking export barriers.
The visual identity took on new forms to reflect the relationship with renewable energy. Biofuels, manufactured from waste and wood processes, increasingly became Incobio's focus.

INVESTMENT IN PELLET PRODUCTION
From 2010 onwards, Incobio dedicated research and investments to start the production of wood pellets, a product still little known in Brazil. In 2013, it installed a production line for this product, with German-made equipment specifically for wood pelletizing.
During this period, the visual identity concept was reformulated, with changes in lines and colors, maintaining the positioning of "Reference in Biomass," but marking a new era in the company - wood pellets.
